Entering Your Season of Celebration
Sunday Service Message by Pastor Evans
Theme Scripture:
“You turned my mourning into dancing; You removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy.” — Psalm 30:11
There are moments in every believer’s journey when God shifts the atmosphere from sorrow to rejoicing. During this powerful Sunday service, Pastor Evans declared a prophetic message of hope, announcing that we have entered our season of celebration.
As Conquerors Chapel International marks 27 years of God’s faithfulness, the congregation was reminded that this is not just another anniversary—it is a testimony of God’s unfailing mercy, protection, and divine help.
What Does Celebration Mean?
Celebration is more than singing, dancing, or gathering together. It is a special occasion where people come together to rejoice because God has done something wonderful.
It is a public expression of gratitude for God’s goodness and faithfulness.
As believers, we serve a God of celebration. Throughout Scripture, God delights in seeing His children rejoice in His blessings. Every time we celebrate His goodness, we acknowledge His greatness and invite His presence into our lives.

God’s Desire Is That His Children Rejoice
The Bible says:
“My heart rejoices in the Lord…” — 1 Samuel 2:1
God never intended His children to live in perpetual sorrow. His desire is for us to walk in joy, peace, and victory.
As Pastor Evans reminded the church:
“Celebration will never disappear from your home.”
This declaration is a reminder that every child of God has a reason to rejoice because our hope is found in Him.

We Celebrate God’s Mercy
Our 27th Anniversary is first and foremost a celebration of God’s mercy.
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning.” — Lamentations 3:22–23
We are alive today not because of our strength, wealth, beauty, or achievements. We are alive because of God’s abundant mercy.
Life itself is a privilege, not a right.
Where there is life, there is hope.
Every new day is another opportunity to experience God’s grace.
The Right Attitude of a Celebrant
Every celebration has celebrants, and every celebrant must possess the right attitude.
A grateful heart honours God.
Instead of focusing on what we lack, we choose to remember how far God has brought us.
This is why we celebrate His faithfulness with thanksgiving.
We Celebrate the Help of God
The people of Israel never forgot God’s help.
“Then Samuel took a stone… and called its name Ebenezer, saying, ‘Thus far the Lord has helped us.’”
— 1 Samuel 7:12
Like Israel, we can confidently declare:
Thus far, the Lord has helped us.
Every victory, every breakthrough, every answered prayer, and every milestone has been possible because God has been our Helper.
We Celebrate God’s Faithfulness
Scripture tells us:
“Because God helped the Levites… they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.” — 1 Chronicles 15:26
God deserves our worship because He has carried us through seasons of difficulty, disappointment, and uncertainty.
Our celebration is an expression of thanksgiving for His continuous guidance and provision.

We Celebrate the Defeat of the Enemy
One of the greatest reasons for celebration is that God has frustrated every plan of the enemy.
The wishes of the devil have failed because God’s purpose has prevailed.
No weapon formed against God’s children will prosper.
Pastor Evans reminded the church that every scheme designed against us has been overturned by God’s mighty hand.
Just as Peter testified after his miraculous deliverance:
“Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent His angel and rescued me…” — Acts 12:11
God is still delivering His people today.
A Season of Joy Has Begun
This anniversary is not merely a church celebration—it is a prophetic declaration over every believer.
May every season of mourning give way to dancing.
May every burden be exchanged for joy.
May every unanswered prayer become a testimony.
May every family experience God’s mercy, help, favour, and celebration.
Conclusion
As we celebrate 27 years of God’s faithfulness, let us continue to thank Him for His mercy, rejoice in His salvation, and trust Him for even greater things ahead.
May this truly be your season of celebration, where every testimony points back to the goodness and faithfulness of God.
“You turned my mourning into dancing; You removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy.”
— Psalm 30:11
We welcome you to celebrate with us as we continue to experience God’s unfailing love, mercy, and victory at Conquerors Chapel International.
